   Why are only the brown 30gb Zunes on sale???
   I saw brown Zunes being sold for .99, then I saw balck and white Zunes being sold for 9.99-199.99. Can anyone tell me why this is???

   • ANSWER:
     The reason they're selling only brown Zunes for cheaper is because the brown is less popular and they have a surplus of them. i bought one yesterday, it's a great deal, and if you're unhappy with the brown color, then just get a skin.
     If you want to buy one, then just know they aren't compatible with itunes, but you can get all the songs from your itunes to the Zune.

2. QUESTION:
   Any Zunes On Sale???
   Does anyone know of any place where I can still get the zune brown, white, black whatever, at a cheap price. Kinda spaced out on the black friday deals, and am now hunting for one.

4. QUESTION:
   Is a Zune 120GB good? ?
   i was planning on getting one for Christmas maybe. Does anyone have a Zune and can tell me if they're worth it?
   + Do stores have sales on Zunes during Christmas season normally?
   Are there any specific stores that you know that give discounts?

   • ANSWER:
     Zunes are AMAZING. I had the original 30gb white one and then sold it to get the smaller red 8gb one. No problems with either and I love them.
     Defiantly get one.
     For sales, eh it really all depends on the stores and stuff. You could wait until after Christmas and get one if you plan on recieving some extra cash as gifts.

5. QUESTION:
   Can zunes work with the on stage dock?
   I had an ipod video and dropped it in the pool :/

   any idea if the zune works with that or if i could get an adapter chord for it? anything?!

   • ANSWER:
     You would have to get an adapter for the base not the cord. The ports on the Zune and iPod devices are proprietary. So unless that dock has an adapter that will convert the base for a Zune then no it won't work.

6. QUESTION:
   Are Zunes Any Good?
   What's the good and bad features of the 30 GB Brown Zune? This store I know is having a sale on them for Thanksgiving for the unbelievable price of .99. Thanks!

   • ANSWER:
     I have had my brown Zune since they first came out. They recently upgraded the firmware which gave it an updated look which looks pretty good. I have all my music collection on it, tons of pictures, and even put quite a few movies on it too (nice when flying). I haven't experienced any problems with it and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I have been able to purchase music from multiple websites without any issues and transfer them to my Zune with no problem. I saw that advertisment too and I might go get another one at that price! Can't beat it. And 30 gigs is a lot of memory for the average user like me - and I have only used maybe a 5th of that already... it will hold a lot of music and pictures.

   will the 30 gb zunes still be on sale after black friday? and is it ONLY the brown ones that will be on sale? and besides radio shack and toys r us, what other places (not online) will be selling them for cheap? thank yous!!

   Is Microsoft on the verge of a downfall?
   First of all the Windows Vista is not selling as well as XP did and corporations are still sticking with XP rather than adopting Vista. Secondly, Microsoft lost its bid for Yahoo. Thirdly, I heard this in the news recently Gamestop has stopped selling its Microsoft zunes. Here's what the spokeperson said, "because it did not have the anticipated appeal and "did not fit with our product mix." Fourthly, Macintosh computers sales have experience a growth rate 4 times that of windows pcs. So what do you think?

     Vista does suck, but all of the server software that microsoft makes is great, and their software development tools are amazing and rapidly evolving in response to customer demands. 86% of new application servers are microsoft .net based. That's an unheard of marketshare.

     The home user market may shy away from microsoft if a viable alternative is offered, but they are treating their business customers (which constitute the marjorty of their sales) very well.

     In addition to the server side of things, there are many more knockout applications developed exclusively on microsoft platforms. Look at the new netflix silverlight online movie rentals as an example.

9. QUESTION:
   How long does the average Creative Zen Vision W last?
   I really dont like iPods. They break easily and are really expensive for what they have to offer. I dont really like the Zunes either.
   My next choice was the Creative MP3 players.
   I really like the Creative Zen Vision W 60GB. It is really expensive but I think it is worth the price. No sales pitch needed, Im hooked.
   My question is; how long before it starts to malfunction?
   I dont want to spend over 0 for something that will only last me a year (*cough* *cough* iPods *cough*).
   I have heard really great things about them and that they will last a while, but around how long?

     First of all the battery is replaceable it should last as long as you take care of it. You can send the zen w to creative and have them change the battery when it dies or buy it and change it you self. The battery will last 2 to 3 years. I have a zen mp3 player and i have had it for 2 years and no problems and the battery is still fine. 11. QUESTION:
    4 Gig Ipod or 30 Gig Zune??
    I know that people say you shouldn't care what other people think, but face it it's hard not to. I don't know what to get. There is a deal at a store to get a 30 gig Zune for only !! Obviously its an AMAZING deal. However, the Zune isn't that popular. The Ipod Nano/Video, on the other hand is extremely popular, and it is starting to go on sale, not that much, but its starting, and I don't know what to get. Should I get a Zune or an Ipod? Please help me!! Also I don't need a lot of music or video space. I'm thinking of Zune because it also has radio as well as everything else but the deal is only for brown Zunes...and I don't really like brown that much. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!     • ANSWER:
      What is the point of purchasing. If you are purchasing as a status symbol then by all means go with the Ipod. Otherwise avoid ipods, the software sucks, you are limited to using the itunes software only and the price is horrible.

      If you are purchasing to store and listen to music and maybe even some videos go with the Zune even if it is brown.

      You won't find many deals on ipods as Apple has a contracted price that limits retail stores from selling there products for less then a specified amount.

12. QUESTION:
    i need to send in my zune to be repaired under warranty, what can i do if i dont have the receipt?
    i got my zune around june/july of last year so my zunes still under warranty, i registered it on the site and it even states the warranty is still in effect so i sent in an order for them to send me a box n get it fixed. problem is when i got the box, inside it sez to have a copy of the sale date of purchase if its a repair under warranty. im not sure where the receipt is so im not sure wat to do, the box has been sitting in my room for almost 2 weeks now....

    Buy software for Zune?
    i really like zunes, and i've been buy the "off brands" for too long. So i want to buy an Ipod, a zune, or a sony, because they sale them in my local Walmart, and i can actually afford them now! So do you know if i can just use my windows media music, or do i have to buy it from zune's version of "itunes"? any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
    Do you have to use Zune's version of Itunes, or can u use windows media? Or can you do the same thing with itunes, and just put it on your *itunes*?

14. QUESTION:
    I know they're being killed, but should I still get a Zune?
    My Zune 8 just died. Wonderful timing.
    So the search for my next mp3 player is on.
    As stubbornly anti-Apple as I am, I decided to look at iPods first. Shuffles were too small, I didn't like the look of the current Nano, and the Classic was too chunky for my liking. Plus I might as well just get a Touch then. The thing about the Touch? I dunno, I just don't want one. At all.
    Admittedly, there aren't really many options out there aside from iPods. In fact, everything except for the few Zunes left fail by my standards.
    So it's down to the iPod vs. Zune debate I dealt with when I got this last Zune a few years ago. Back then, it was easy enough, but now, now that the Zune is being discontinued?
    I'm not even 100% sure what that means, but something about that is warning me against getting a Zune. But there's nothing attractive at all in the iPods for me, and I'd take the Zune 32 any day.
    If it weren't for this recent discontinuation. Although Best Buy is now running a sale because of that...
    ...is it worth getting though? Put aside your Apple fanboyism and tell me whether or not it's a really stupid idea to get a product that's being discontinued.

    • ANSWER:
      The only downside to the Zune HD mp3 players will be, that apps will not be made for the Zune HD mp3 players any longer. Microsoft however, is not killing off the Zune Mp3 player line entirely. Microsoft is only eliminating the stand alone Zune mp3 players, like the Zune HD. Microsoft is killing off the Zune mp3 players to concentrate on there new Windows Phone 7 operating system for smart phones. Don't forget, that all Windows Phone 7 enabled phones, are fully enabled Zune mp3 players. Much like the i Phone is for i Pod's. Apple is moving in this direction as well. There is talk of eliminating the i Pod classic in the near term now. Also, the Zune market place is not going anywhere since it is needed to manage your music, and video's on the Windows 7 phones.

      The Zune is not dead. Only the stand alone players are. If you get a Zune mp3 player, it will still hook up to the Zune Market place just fine. Plus, Microsoft wants to start incorporating the market place even more into the Xbox 360 then it already is.

      PS. If you want apps though, you will have to get a Windows 7 enabled phone.

    I need a job please!?
    I need a job like many other people in this world. But please, my family is desperate for money. My husband works at UPS and makes 0 per week and our rent is 0 per month plus our car insurance is 0 per month and the gas and electric bill is 0 per month, and we need food and our food stamps keep getting cut off and we're trying to get our daughter back from social services, she is 1 year old and the only thing left we have to do is finish baby proofing and repairing the house and between the cost of rent and repairs and all the bills we are broke. My dad is helping us with the bills until I can get a job so please someone give me a job! I've turned in hundreds of applications and haven't recieved a single call back. I'm very good at computers, I do designs on adobe photoshop along with photoediting, I'm proficient with Microsoft office Excel, Powerpoint, Word, I know how to delete viruses and cookies, I can set up wireless internet connections, I can fix networking connectivity problems, and I was an intern at Hypernova videogames aka Evil Genius Video games. I'm very good at math and reading, I have a hobby of learning other languages (I'm only fluent in English but I know some Japanese, Spanish, and French). I'm also very good at training cats and dogs, I've had 3 jobs as a cashier, and I am also a very good sales person when it comes to electronics. I have no previous experience selling computers, mp3 players, etc. employment-wise, but I have had multiple personal experiences. One, for example, was when I was at Best Buy with my dad getting a new computer. I overheard this guy talking to his wife about how he wasn't sure what kind of Ipod he wanted. I, personally, prefer Zunes. I've dealt with Ipods and I've dealt with Zunes so I walked over to him and I explained how although Ipods may seem better, they commony glitch, they're overpriced because the main "operating system" of the device takes up more memory than the Zune "operating system" program does. Thus allowing you to put more songs and videos onto the Zune. In addition, with the Ipod if you want one that has Video, Music, Pictures, Games and Radio like the Zune you would have to spend 0-0 and the screen wouldn't be as large as the zune screen, and it would most likely break within a year. Whereas a 6 Zune has Radio, games. video, pictures, etc. and you get over 80GB of memory and you can access more of the 80GB of memory than you would be able to access on a 80GB Ipod. Later, when my dad and I were at the front of the store checking the reciept for our purchase, we saw the same couple at a cashier paying for a zune.
    I also used to intern at Dougals Catering as an assistant cook, and I interned at Hill Middle School as an 8th grade math teacher for the kids who had the most difficulty in math.
    I have no college degrees, I have my high school GED, I do not have my Microsoft A+ certification but I know enough and will continue to learn just please someone give me a job! Please, I have no tickets on my record other than a wrongs to minor ticket that was given to us the day our daughter was taken because our house was messy even though we showed proof that the exterminators had come just beforehand and when they come to spray you have to move everything to the centers of each room. Please I love my daughter and I need her home with me! Please, someone please give me a job and I promise you won't regret it! I am a hard worker and all I need is a break from standing once an hour because the MCL ligaments in both of my legs are torn and they've been torn for the past 4 years, I have my medcal marijuana license but I do not come to work under the influence of my medication, thus why I'll need to sit for 5-10 minutes every hour-half hour. 16. QUESTION:
    Do any MP3 players aside from iPods play games?
    I’ve been looking at lots of different MP3 players recently, hoping to find one cheap and with everything I wanted (sounds like I’m asking for a lot, I know).

    I ruled out iPods since they're extremely expensive, break easily (and you can’t replace the battery) anyways, ya, my last iPod broke quickly.

    I’ve been looking at Creative (Zens), Zunes, sansa and really anything else on the market. I’m impressed with the expandable memory feature many have, though I don’t need too much memory right now (a 4 GB or maybe even a 2 GB ought to do it).

    My only problem is that I cannot find a single MP3 player that plays games (other than iPods). I want to be able to do something active, not just stare out the window, while riding the subway or waiting for something. How has no other company realized people want games?
    Am I weird in that I want games? Is that too much to ask?

    OR, am I missing a key player that does have games (I'm hoping I am).

      Try the Sony PSP. It plays games, music and videos. On top of that, you can always buy mulitple memory cards, so you're not limited in space.
